Kelley Drye Supports MCCA Diversity Gala

On July 25, 2014, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) held its annual Diversity Gala at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. The MCCA Diversity Gala is the premier national awards program honoring the foremost corporate law departments from across the nation for diversity and industry leadership as well as achievements in their legal department diversity programs. The 2014 Employer of Choice Honorees were British Petroleum (BP), Cummins, Xcel Energy, GlaxoSmithKline, and Prudential. The MCCA also bestowed its 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award upon Justice Cruz Reynoso, the first Latino Associate Justice on the California Supreme Court (1982-1987). Actor, producer, director and social activist, Laurence Fishburne presented the award to Justice Reynoso and multi-Grammy award-winner music icon, James Ingram, provided entertainment. Representing Kelley Drye at the Gala was Diversity Director, Venetta Amory.
