June 25, 2012

Kelley Drye was once again proud to sponsor Trevor Live,” billed as an irreverent evening of comedy and music” to benefit The Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth. Associate Damon W. Suden attended Trevor Live” on June 25, 2012 at Chelsea Piers, together with several client contacts from the fashion, television and cosmetics industries.

Awards were given to MTV for its continuing coverage and honest portrayal of LGBTQ issues and Susan Sarandon for being a vocal advocate. In addition, several young people, including an 11 year-old transgendered girl, were awarded Colin Higgins Youth Courage Awards for overcoming discrimination and hardship due to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

The evening was not only fun and inspirational, but also a great opportunity to network with leaders in a variety of industries who share Kelley Drye’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
