April 6, 2018

On April 6, 2018, the George Washington University Law School Black Law Students Association (BLSA) and Association of Black Law Alumni (ABLA) kicked off their inaugural Spring Conference. The event was an opportunity to harness the collective intellectual prowess of GW, its students, faculty, alumni, and affiliates.

The full day conference featured topics on the criminal justice system, the impact of wealth, and careers beyond traditional legal practice. The day culminated in the celebration of GW BLSA’s 40th Annual Patricia Roberts Harris Awards Dinner, a marquis event attended by senior associate Brooke Ringel, a graduate of GW Law School, and director of diversity Venetta Amory.
