On October 11, 2018, Kelley Drye sponsored the 2018 - Celebrating ACC Chicago Chapter’s 15th Anniversary – Diversity Summer Internship Program Panel discussion and Inaugural Diversity Awards. The panel was titled “Evolving Your Personal Brand, Profile and Visibility: Success Strategies for Diverse In-House Counsel.” The panel’s impressive line-up of in-house counsel included clients and contacts: Pam Chen, general counsel, Museum of Science and Industry; Dennis Garcia, assistant general counsel, Microsoft Corporation; Marcella Hein, senior corporate counsel, CCC Information Services; and Tyrone H. Thomas, Jr., associate general counsel, Invenergy LLC.

The event was a huge success with nearly 75 people mingling and networking well past the closing time. The panel received rave reviews from the in-coming ACC Chicago Chapter president. Diversity Director Venetta Amory came to Chicago to champion and support the event.
