On October 21, 2013, SAGE, the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults, held its 18th annual Awards & Gala at Gotham Hall, New York. The honorees included Roberta Kaplan, the lawyer who successfully argued United States v. Windsor; Jay Lesiger, a former SAGE Board President; Chris Kann, philanthropist; and the organization Jewish Home Lifecare. Representing Kelley Drye, a longstanding supporter of SAGE, were associates Sean R. Flanagan, Martin A. Krolewski and Damon W. Suden; Manager of Legal Personnel, Cali Mazzarella, and Diversity Director, Venetta Amory.
