Special Counsel Frédéric Dopagne will speak at a closed seminar on special missions in international law, jointly organized by the Belgian Society of International Law and the Directorate of Legal Affairs of the Belgian Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He will address the issue of the legal status of special missions sent by a State to another State, with a focus on the immunities enjoyed by members of such special missions according to the New York Convention of 16 December 1969 or customary international law.
