Partner Laurence J. Lasoff spoke at the International Titanium Association’s Titanium 2013 conference in Las Vegas, NV on October 9. Mr. Lasoff’s session “Export Control Reform” addressed the government’s fiscal situation, with a specific focus on the Budget Control Act and sequestration. Mr. Lasoff provided an “inside the beltway” outlook on the impact of sequestration on government procurement policy and the upstream defense industry supply chain, including the titanium industry.
