On March 28, 2014 partner August T. Horvath spoke at the ABA Section of Antitrust Law Spring Meeting in Washington, D.C. He was the chair and moderator for the session “Does Compliance Matter? Class Actions Over Regulated Labels,” which discussed the recent surge in suits attacking labels for foods, beverages, drugs, cosmetics and other regulated products. This session explained key cases, the role of regulators, and marketing, economic and statistical analyses critical to assessing these claims.
