On July 24, 2012, Special Counsel Benjamin Feder served as a speaker for Strafford’s CLE webinar titled, “Credit Bidding in Bankruptcy Sales: Critical Issues Facing Lenders.” This CLE webinar provided bankruptcy counsel with a review of strategic decision making in credit bidding, resolving the myriad of disputes among lenders and unsecured creditors, and overcoming legal challenges to the lender’s right to credit bid. Mr. Feder discussed RadLax, and what constitutes “cause” under 363(k) to deny the right to credit bid. Mr. Feder was joined by 1-2 other speakers, and following their presentation there was 20 minutes of live, interactive Q&A with the audience.
