Partner Bruce R. Kraus was on a panel at the American Bar Association’s Administrative Law Fall Conference on October 25, 2012. The panel, titled “Cost-Benefit Analysis: How It Could Be Better,” discussed current issues in cost-benefit analysis, including the court’s holding in Business Roundtable v. SEC and possible responses. The panel also provided a summary of efforts in Congress to legislate better analysis. David Rostker, Assistant Chief Counsel, Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy moderated and other panelists joining Mr. Kraus included Heidi King, Chief Economist, House Energy and Commerce Committee; Art Fraas, Visiting Scholar, Resources for the Future; and Randy Lutter, Visiting Scholar, Resources for the Future.
