Judicial Symposium on Civil Justice Issues

On November 12, 2012, of counsel Jodie Z. Bernstein spoke at the Seventh Annual Judicial Symposium on Civil Justice Issues presented by the George Mason University School of Law. The goal of the annual symposium is to provide a platform that gives judges a systematic review and critique of the most important civil justice issues of the day. Panel discussions touched on emerging issues and trends in the civil justice system. Mrs. Bernstein moderated a panel called Centennial of the Council of Better Business Bureaus: The Important Role of Self-Regulatory Organizations.” The panel included: Lee Peeler, Executive Vice President at the Council of Better Business Bureaus and President & CEO at the Advertising Self Regulatory Council; and Linda Sherry, Director of National Priorities at Consumer Action.
