Skip Hartquist, Chair of the International Trade Practice Group, spoke at American Metal Market’s 3rd Annual China Summit. He participated in a panel on international trade law that focused on new trade cases filed before the U.S. Department of Commerce and International Trade Commission, and their likely impacts on the metals industry. The panel also discussed the outlook for the industry in relation to competition from Chinese producers as well as a study about Chinese government subsidies to its stainless steel industry. That study was compiled by Kelley Drye and released by the Specialty Steel Institute of North America, to which Skip is general counsel.
