ABG Externship Program Comes To Kelley Drye

On March 21-23, 2016, over her Spring Break, Shree Mehrotra, a 1st year student at the University of Chicago, spent some time at Kelley Drye as part of the University’s Alumni Board of Governor’s (ABG) Externship Program. At Kelley Drye, Ms. Mehrotra visited our New York and New Jersey offices where she met with Kelley Drye attorneys and learned the differences between litigation and transactional work, between partner and associate, and between pro bono and private practice. With an expressed interest in environmental and human rights law, Ms. Mehrotra was also able to learning about these areas and capped her experience by attending the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) Annual Gala with attorneys from the NJ office. ​“I was able to learn a great deal in a short period of time,” said Shree, ​“making this a very valuable experience indeed.”
