Kelley Drye’s Public International and Diplomatic Law team will conduct a round-table discussion on immunities of international organizations, with a focus on Belgium as a host State. Recent legal developments – both at the international level and in national jurisdictions – will be presented and discussed (mass damage claims against international organizations, domestic statutes on immunity from execution, case-law on the conflict between immunities and the individual’s right of access to a court, liability of the host State, etc.). Interesting trends and potential solutions will also be highlighted.
Panelists: Bert Theeuwes, Partner – Frédéric Dopagne, Special Counsel
