Global Climate Change: Programs, Policies and Implications

April 24, 2007 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm (EDT)

This half-day seminar will feature speakers from Capitol Hill discussing the various climate change-related bills under consideration in the 110th Congress. Attendees will learn about the legislative solutions proposed to date, how the business community is responding to the current climate change debate, and the likely impact of new laws aimed at curbing carbon emissions.

As a preface to the political discussion, legal and scientific experts with Kelley Drye’s Environmental Law Practice Group will provide a primer of the basic science behind global climate change, as well as an introduction to existing emissions reduction programs at the international, federal, regional, and state levels.

This seminar will benefit business leaders interested in participating in the climate change rulemaking process and anyone seeking to learn more about the ongoing policy debate.
