Kelley Drye & Warren LLP is seeking a junior to mid-level Environmental Litigation Associate to join the Firm’s Houston office. Candidates must be licensed in Texas and have between two and four years of experience in environmental or commercial litigation. Environmental experience is a plus. General responsibilities include: performing document review, organization and production; conducting extensive legal research; drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, complaints, letters to the court, affidavits, and articles and client advisories; engaging in active motion practice in both state and federal court, including drafting motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, motions to compel and other discovery motions, and jurisdictional motions; summarizing and analyzing documents and deposition testimony; and conducting fact investigation/development. Top academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well on a team are required. Journal experience a plus.
