Partner Steve Augustino will be a featured presenter at the 2008 ION Game Conference in Seattle, Washington from May 13 - 15, 2008. At the conference, Mr. Augustino will present, “Virtual Worlds: Real Disputes Around the Globe,” with Dr. Andreas Lober, a partner with SchulteRiesenkampff, a law firm based out of Frankfurt, Germany. The presentation will provide attendees with an overview of the emerging trends in virtual world law and the differing approaches of the U.S. and E.U. Focusing on the service provider relationship with its end-users, Mr. Augustino and Dr. Lober will discuss societal obligations and provide a cross-jurisdictional review of legal liabilities in the U.S. and Europe.
