Stephen Arner, an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group, successfully represented an asylee from Togo who was at risk of being denied residency. After being granted asylum, the asylee learned that she was HIV-positive. In conjunction with her pending application to adjust status, Kelley Drye prepared and filed an I-602 Application by Asylee for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility, an HIV Supplement, a declaration, and a letter on her behalf setting forth the legal and factual arguments supporting waiver.
