Our 300+ lawyers in the U.S. and abroad are organized into practice groups. During their first four months with the Firm, first year associates at Kelley Drye are given the opportunity and are encouraged to work in various areas prior to joining a practice group. First year associates are assigned to a group in January of their first year. Assignments are based on the associate's expressed preference and the Firm's needs. It is rare for an associate not be assigned to the group of his or her choice.
