Partner Robert Friedman has founded the Children's Victory Project, Inc. ("CVP") to help children and families who are victims of crime including violence, homicide and domestic abuse.
The CVP provides short term financial assistance in the form of emergency grants for food, shelter and medical expenses. It also provides long term assistance with educational support, scholarships and funding for permanent housing.
Kelley Drye is the first founding member of the CVP, making a donation and financing the organization's website and disbursements for all legal work. Kelley Drye is also providing volunteer corporate and tax work.
Kelley Drye Of Counsel Honorable Francis Murphy, serves on the Board of Advisors and Corporate Associate Kathleen McMenamy and Litigation Paralegal Tanya Green are providing continuous pro bono work to the project.
