Kelley Drye Strengthens Government Contracts Practice With Seasoned Advisor

Partner David T. Hickey has joined Kelley Drye & Warren LLP in the Government Contracts practice group, where they will advise on federal procurement, Department of Defense, veteran’s affairs, homeland security, national defense, and aerospace legal and legislative issues.

Most recently, Mr. Hickey served as a partner in Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Corporate Department. Previously, he was a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig LLP and in-house counsel for General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems. In addition to his private sector experience, Mr. Hickey also served as a staff investigator for the United States Senate Committee on governmental affairs and special investigations. He also was a manager in the United States House of Representatives, Office of the Clerk, where he implemented congressional ethics responsibilities under the Lobbying Disclosure Act, Ethics in Government Act, Congressional Mailing Standards, House Gift and Travel Rules and the Federal Election Campaign Act. He is a former Army infantry officer.
