Washington, D.C. – Donna L. Wilson, a Litigation Partner in Kelley Drye & Warren LLP's Insurance Recovery and Consumer and Merchant Financial Services Practice Groups, has co-founded the Insurance Law Forum for the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia. Ms. Wilson, Andrea Tecce, managing director with Navigant Consulting, and Laura Foggan, a partner with Wiley Rein LLP will co-chair the forum. Suzan Charlton, special counsel with Covington & Burling LLP, will serve as its vice-chair.
The group presents a unique opportunity to local female insurance practitioners, given the lack similar membership opportunities available for women specifically, or for practitioners in the Washington area. It will also serve as a tool to enhance the WBA’s relationship with current members in the insurance sector. Events will include regular luncheons, a speaker series, and periodic evening events.
Founded in 1917, the Women’s Bar Association celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, making it one of the oldest and largest voluntary bar associations in metropolitan Washington, D.C.
