The decision will trigger the Department of Commerce to begin collection of antidumping and countervailing duties according to its May findings that that the merchandise has gained an unfair advantage in the U.S. marketplace. The investigations stem from petitions filed by a group of steel companies including ArcelorMittal USA, which is represented by Kelley Drye attorneys Mr. Rosenthal, Kathleen Cannon and R. Alan Luberda. “The work of the Department of Commerce and the ITC have paved the way to restoring fair conditions in the market for corrosion-resistant steel and helped to ensure that the industry and its employees will be better positioned to benefit from their significant investments and hard work,” Mr. Rosenthal said.
