On September 12, 2014, the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of the Greater Washington DC Area, Inc. (APABA-DC) hosted its annual Awards and Installation Gala at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Among the honorees were the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, who received the Community Appreciation Award and the Honorable Norman Y. Mineta, Secretary (Ret.), U.S. Department of Transportation, recognized with the Pioneer Award. The featured guest was Michelle K. Lee, Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Attending the event on behalf of Kelly Drye was associate Grace W. Kim.
