On May 13, 2014 associate Kristi L. Wolff spoke at the Consumer Healthcare Products Association’s 2014 Regulatory, Scientific & Quality Conference. Ms. Wolff’s session, “Medical Technology: The Healthcare Continuum,” discussed the vast world of healthcare technologies that exist beyond the OTC drug environment and how consumers use these products. She provided an overview of consumer privacy considerations beyond HIPAA requirements that accompany the collection of consumer health information and share practical tips for developing, using, and regulating healthcare technologies.
