On March 19, 2014 partners Henry T. Kelly, Thomas W. Cohen and associate Michael R. Dover spoke as part of COMPTEL PLUS Spring 2014 Convention & EXPO in Las Vegas. The Kelley Drye Telecommunications team hosted a half-day workshop titled “The Next Big Thing: Capitalizing on Emerging Trends at the Intersection of Public Policy and Business.” This regulatory workshop helped providers understand the legal and policy trends affecting communications markets in 2014 and beyond, and highlighted the impacts, risks, and opportunities associated with these trends. There also was discussion of IP trials, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), spectrum and licensing, and additional relevant topics.
