Represented major bank in a lawsuit against 11 insurance companies seeking recovery of more than $1 billion under surety bonds supporting certain commodity sales transactions involving Enron. Case settled after four weeks of trial.
Represented a major technology company in a lawsuit brought by a state Attorney General alleging fraudulent and deceptive trade practices with respect to advertising, warranties, rebates, technical support and customer service. Case settled.
Defended major manufacturing company against multimillion-dollar contract and business tort claims. Obtained a jury verdict at trial, which was affirmed on appeal.
Represented a major bank against multimillion-dollar claims alleging breaches of duty as indenture trustee. Case settled.
Represented a major reprographics company in an appeal of a multimillion-dollar bankruptcy court judgment. Case settled.
