Prior to joining Kelly Drye, Ms. Musselman Oost worked at the Illinois Commerce Commission for seven years where she was a senior policy advisor to Commissioners Karl A. McDermott and Terry S. Harvill, and was an economic analyst in the policy section of the Telecommunications Division. As an advisor, Ms. Musselman Oost was responsible for advising the Commissioners on statutory interpretation, compliance, and other policy issues; reviewing and critiquing orders, testimony, and tariffs; and developing proposed language for orders, dissenting and concurring opinions, and various other memoranda. As an economic analyst, she acted as the liaison between the Telecommunications Division, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, and other telecommunications organizations; provided expert witness testimony; and assisted in the preparation comments to the Federal Communications Commission. Ms. Musselman Oost has also worked for the Argonne National Laboratory and the Center for Regulatory Studies.
