Ms. Danowski’s practice focuses on intellectual property and litigation. She has participated in intellectual property audits and organizes and manages intellectual property portfolios. She regularly collaborates with senior counsel during trial and prepares litigation motions on behalf of clients. With nine years experience as a Law Librarian, Ms. Danowski is especially effective at providing legal, business and general reference and research in the fields of intellectual property, litigation, antitrust and advertising. Additionally, she coordinates and manages large document productions, large document production reviews, and extranets for litigation and patent prosecution.
 
Representative Experience:
In re Wireless Telephone Federal Cost Recovery Fees Litigation (MDL 1559), 293 F.Supp.2d 1378 (JPML 2003). Assist defense counsel for Sprint-Nextel in more than two dozen nationwide class action suits challenging fees charged to wireless telephone customers. Consolidated over thirty cases under the Multidistrict Litigation rules. All Writs Act injunction and nationwide class settlement approved and upheld on appeal (2004 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 23342 (W.D. Mo. 2004), aff'd, 396 F.3d 922 (8th Cir. 2005)).

Steak 'N Shake v. Burger King Corp., 323 F. Supp. 2d 983 (E.D. Mo. 2004). Assist defense counsel for Burger King in defeating TRO and preliminary injunction motions alleging violations of federal and state trademark and anti-dilution statutes.

AngioDynamics, Inc. v. Sensational Serve, D2007-0307 (WIPO Apr. 26, 2007). Successful defense of UDRP action.
 
Publications:
Ms. Danowski is a regular contributor to Legal Information Alert. Additionally, her article, “Defending Your Client’s Domain Name – Lessons Learned from a Successful UDRP Action,” will appear in the August 2008 issue of IP Strategist.
 
Prior Positions:
Ms. Danowski previously served as Senior Legal Assistant and Senior Reference Librarian at the Firm. She has also worked as an Information Professional Consultant at LexisNexis and a Reference Librarian at Howrey LLP.
