Pamela Bruzzese-Szczygiel is a partner in the firm's New York office. She focuses her practice on corporate and banking law matters, particularly in the corporate trust area.
Ms. Bruzzese-Szczygiel represents major financial institutions acting as corporate trustees, collateral agents and escrow agents in a wide variety of transactions, from the structuring of new financings to restructurings and bankruptcy reorganizations. She represents trustees in connection with the issuance by major foreign and domestic corporations of new securities, including standard notes, bonds and debentures, and complex transactions involving trust preferred securities and equity units.
Through the wide network of institutions that she represents, Ms. Bruzzese-Szczygiel is able to assist trustees in locating successors and effectuate smooth transitions when resignations are necessary due to conflicts. When issuers default on their securities, Ms. Bruzzese-Szczygiel represents trustees in connection with such issues as noteholder committees, restructuring transactions, and bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings in the United States and abroad. |
