Representative Experience:
Assisted in the successful defense of a major athletic shoe and apparel retailer in a breach of contract action. Obtained settlement for a small fraction of the amount claimed at close of discovery.
Assisted in the defense of an international software company in a multi-million dollar lawsuit involving alleged theft of trade secrets, copyright infringement and unfair competition. Case settled favorably during cross-examination of plaintiff's second witness.
Assisted in the representation of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Company's CEO in lawsuit involving firing of two officers by large chemical manufacturing company. Obtained dismissal of third-party complaint against Company.
Assisted in the representation of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. in a multi-billion dollar, multi-district litigation against claims by note holders of a bankrupt healthcare company that the bank breached its duties as indenture trustee.
Assisted in the successful defense of a New York area hospital in a lawsuit brought by a former employee alleging wrongful termination and violations of a whistleblower statute. Case dismissed at trial on a motion for directed verdict after plaintiff's case-in-chief. |
