David Retter is a partner in the firm's New York office. He focuses his practice on corporate, corporate trust and bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Retter represents indenture trustees with respect to both new debt offerings and default and bankruptcy situations.
Mr. Retter represents trust companies and the corporate trust departments of major banks. He has been involved in virtually every aspect of corporate trust activity, including traditional indenture work, various types of agency arrangements, novel forms of debt and equity financings, and defaults and bankruptcies. He also has been involved in many of the recent major bankruptcies regarding indenture trustees.
In addition, Mr. Retter has been involved in international financing transactions both at the "front end," representing banks acting as trustees, fiscal agents, escrow agents and paying agents in major new projects in Southeast Asia and Asia, and at the "back end" when these types of projects have gone into default. |
