Representative Experience:
Serving as lead counsel for generic pharmaceutical companies in multistate and federal litigation brought by state and federal governments.
Representing John Hancock Financial Services Corporation in a variety of New York-based financial services litigation.
Representing the Archdiocese of New York in First Amendment litigation arising out of church closings.
Trial counsel for JPMorgan Chase in a billion-dollar trial relating to surety bonds on commodities transactions with Enron.
Defended State Street Bank in lender liability/fraud actions. Obtained defense judgment at conclusion of discovery.
Representing Gibraltar Insurance Company in connection with complex multimillion-dollar construction industry litigation.
Successfully defended Hercules Incorporated at trial and on appeal in a multimillion-dollar breach of contract action related to the acquisition of a Hercules subsidiary by Unisys.
Prosecuted a complex fraud/fraudulent conveyance action against reorganized insurance companies.
Successfully defended federal False Claims Act litigation in the healthcare and defense contract industries.
Successfully defended a fraud action, including multibillion-dollar foreign exchange currency trading, for JPMorgan Chase. |
