| Mr. Kirk's practice focuses on representation of financial institutions, investors and developers in all types of real estate transactions throughout the United States, including construction and permanent financings, acquisitions and sales, joint ventures, leasing and sale-leaseback transactions, as well as construction and real estate management. Mr. Kirk also represents these clients in commercial real estate workouts, as well as the enforcement of their rights and remedies in foreclosure, eviction and bankruptcy. Mr. Kirk is the Managing Partner of the Firm and a Member of the Firm's Executive Committee. |

Representative Experience:
Represented Forest City Ratner Companies in the joint venture development with The New York Times Company of the Times' proposed new headquarters building to be constructed in the Times Square area of New York City.
Represented Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada in the issuance of $254,000,000 of mortgage-backed securities in a transaction underwritten by Lehman Brothers.
Represented Actus Lend Lease in the privatization and development of the non-military portions of Fort Campbell, located in Tennessee and Kentucky. |
